So we started out with a dirt patch... Kermit had the new siding from the house sitting there for awhile and it killed the grass. So what better to do on a sunny Sunday April afternoon.... make a mud pit. It was over 70 so we decided to let the kids have a little fun. Kermit is quite particular about his lawn so we know once it's replanted this won't happen again :)
The kids put the sprinkler out and played in the mud for a couple of hours. At one point I heard Kyler say, "This is the best day of my life... well maybe not quite the best day because Disneyland was pretty cool...but this is pretty fun." Grammie came over to see the fun and then we did a quick clean up and walked down to the Chuckwagon for some ice cream. I even sat in the sun and read a book today. I'm thinking a mud pit at the property would make for some good times :)
