Thinking of Kaleb

As Kermit and I were up early this morning with a sick little girl we found ourselves on the computer listening to a new song brought to our attention and a song I remember so well when we were praying so much for our little Kaleb. The first song is "He's My Son" By Mark Schultz and the second link is about a song "What It Means To Be Loved" also by Mark Schultz. I can remember like yesterday receiving the diagnosis and hearing that our son may not even make it to birth. It seemed as though all of our dreams came crashing down at that one moment. We had hope then and continue to have hope today...that is the beautiful thing about being a Christian. We know that if God sees you to it He WILL see you THROUGH it. Even though there is so much pain through our loss I am thankful we were given the opportunity to love Kaleb with everything we have. All he knew was love and that is what he knows today... safe in the arms of Jesus. Sometimes the days still seem dark...we take a few steps forward and then fall back again. Thankfully we have each other to lean on and when one is down the other is there to pick them up. Thankfully we have Jesus in our lives and know that we will see our son again one day. Today I am remembering all of the little angels and their parents who live with the tremendous loss everyday. We love you Kaleb and you are always in our hearts!!!
