Happy 3rd Birthday Kaleb!

Today our precious son Kaleb would be 3 years old. Sometimes it doesn't even seem possible that is has been 3 years since we met our son. Other days our journey almost feels completely unreal. Sometimes it feels like he was just here with us... I wish I could hold him and smell him and tell him how much I love him again. I know that we will have the opportunity again someday... but it doesn't take away all of the pain and hurt inside and how much we MISS him now. He was such a miracle and such a blessing. He has changed my life in so many ways and I am so thankful God gave me the privilege to be his mommy if only for such a short time. I love you to the moon and back Kaleb. Happy Birthday in heaven! Another great birthday party! I can't believe my little boy is already 7. Kyler is such a blessing to us all! He makes me laugh, makes me cry (usually in a good way) and always fills me up with LOVE. I love you Kyler. Happy Birthday again. You are a very SPECIAL boy!

As I look at all of these pictures I realize how blessed I truly am. The Lord has given me so many blessings in my life! I have Kermit, my children, my parents, all of my grandparents, Kermit's parents, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, friends, aunts and uncles and cousins! Although the last few years have been extremely difficult after losing our precious son Kaleb, I still have so much to be grateful for! I have made many new friendships through our heartache and for them I am so thankful because they truly can understand how I'm feeling. I am thankful for my family and friends who have stood by us so faithfully. It's hard when life goes on with a huge part of me missing! To my sister and my mom and dad I could have never made it without you! Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to support me and my family! I am so truly grateful! So as I start out the New Year I pray that 2010 is a year filled with much health and happiness for all. Count your blessing daily even when they seem to few to count...they are always there! Love to you all and many blessings in the New Year! Carla if you would move back to Washington that would really make my year!!! :)
